Leucine, the chemical name is L-2-ammonia-4-methylpentanoic acid, white crystal or crystalline powder; odorless, slightly bitter taste. The slightly soluble density in water is 1.038g/cm3, the melting point is greater than 300ºC, and the boiling point is 217.7ºC at 760 mmHg.
