1. Food colorants
As a natural food colorant, zeaxanthin has been approved as a food coloring in many countries such as Europe and the United States. Zeaxanthin-containing materials are ideal feed colorants, and there is no doubt that their research is gaining traction.
2. Food preservative
The antioxidant activity of zeaxanthin can prevent the oxidation of lipids and vitamins in food, keep the nutrients and flavor of food from being destroyed by oxidation, and prolong the shelf life of food, so zeaxanthin is a very ideal natural food preservative. At present, zeaxanthin is commonly used in solid food.
3. Feed additives
